Drawing the Effective Portrait 14200A

This class covers the basics of drawing the human face including anatomical structure, individual facial features, working from reference and how to make a portrait both accurate and compelling. We will use pencil, charcoal and/or chalk pastels. There will be historical examples shown and techniques demonstrated.

9x12 or 11x14 drawing pad

Pencils, hb, 2b,4b

Kneaded eraser

Vine charcoal
