Art Tour/Bowery Boogie: Downtown Art Scene

The lower East Side is in full bloom! Lean how the LES transformed from a slum to a fashionable art hub.

Visit four prominent galleries exhibiting art works by the most critically acclaimed artists.  As we navigate our way to the galleries we will view murals by the edgiest street artists such as Shepard Fairey, the artist responsible for the iconic Barack Obama "Hope" portrait. We will also wander into the famous Freeman Alley, which will make you temporarily forget that you're in NYC, and you'll feel as if you're in Europe.

The group will meet first at Think Coffee located at 1 Bleecker Street, NYC before starting the tour. The tour will end at Louis the Cafe/Marketplace within the ever-so-trendy Public Hotel located at 215 Chystie Street. (Minimum of 10 people for tour to be scheduled). Sign up today! (Transportation to NYC not provided)
